I want to recieve the Energy Acedemy Certificate!
A large number of institutes of the Hanze university of applied sciences Groningen offer energy-focused education within their majors. Combined with energy modules from other study programs/domains, these can lead to a certificate from Energy Academy Europe (EAE-certificate).
These future energy transition professionals and researchers must possess a broad range of skills and competencies, which enable them to develop solutions for energy transition issues. The energy education leading to the achievement of the EAE energy certificate is divided into three domains: business, society and technology.
To be eligible for the EAE Energy Certificate, students have three options:
For personalized advice regarding the fulfillment of the energy education requirements outside your own domain, please contact Ellen Schipper (e.h.schipper@pl.hanze.nl), coordinator of energy routes at Entrance.
Another opportunity to be able to receive an EAE Energy Certificate, is to follow one of the following energy-related minors of your choice (Please note, admission requirements may apply for a minor):
With this option, students are also required to participate in a minimum of 10 learning activities from the New Energy Coalition.
A student is able to shape their own energy pathway within a multidisciplinary research team, as part of one of the Entrances Learning Communities and/or lectorates, where they collaborate with other students from the two domains other than their own. This option can only be established in consultation with the program management of the Entrance Learning Communities.
A student who has conducted their graduation research at an external company or organization within the theme of energy transition, and who has therefore approached the issue from various disciplines, is able to submit their graduation research for assessment to the Entrance Learning Communities team. This team will evaluate it for its multidisciplinary nature. The graduation trajectory must contain a minimum of 30 ECs, and the student must also follow at least 10 learning activities form the New Energy Coalition.
