We’re delighted to show you what we’re all working on and what projects are currently underway. We’ll take you on a tour of the test bed, show you our unique research facilities and fill you in on all the possibilities on offer. During the tour, you’ll get a glimpse into the work carried out here every day. Along the way, we’ll explain how our researchers, students and partners collaborate and how the knowledge built up here finds its way into practice. Did you know, for example, that training courses for network operators are held in our test beds? This is a great example of how research is directly translated into teaching materials that help advance practice.

The Walks & Talks will be held in English. We will be joined by the minor and master students of the Energy Kick Start. The initial event to introduce our new students to the energy transition.

After the Walks & Talks the Barn Talk with Helga van Leur takes place. During this Barn Talk, we’ll be exploring the world of climate psychology, habit formation and collective change with Helga. She’ll be talking about five inner ‘monsters’ that shed light on how our climate behaviour comes about.
Helga’s strength lies in the way she speaks from a positive perspective and looks at how we can actually bring about behavioural change. She doesn’t focus on people’s mistakes, but on how we can act together for a better climate.
