The UNLOCK – Unlocking Green Hydrogen Economy for SMEs in European Regions project will be featured at the NL Paviljoen stand during the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition 2026, taking place from 19 to 21 May 2026 at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands.
During the exhibition, the official UNLOCK project kick off video will be shown by Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) as part of a curated selection of European hydrogen projects funded through the Interreg programme. The video will be displayed continuously at the NL Paviljoen, introducing international visitors to UNLOCK’s objectives, activities and European partnership approach.
The NL Paviljoen, coordinated by RVO, presents a dedicated showcase of Dutch and European initiatives that contribute to the development of the international hydrogen economy. By selecting UNLOCK, RVO highlights the project as a relevant and inspiring example of cross regional cooperation within the EU, demonstrating how policy learning and collaboration can support small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in engaging with emerging green hydrogen markets.
UNLOCK is an Interreg Europe funded project that brings together regional authorities, research institutions and stakeholders from across Europe to improve policies that enable SME participation in regional green hydrogen economies. The project focuses on strengthening governance, sharing best practices and unlocking the economic potential of hydrogen for SMEs in different European regions.
Being featured at the World Hydrogen Summit 2026—one of the world’s largest and most influential hydrogen events—positions UNLOCK within a global context of hydrogen policy, investment and innovation. This visibility is fully aligned with the objectives of both the World Hydrogen Summit and the NL Paviljoen programme, which aim to accelerate the hydrogen transition through international cooperation, knowledge exchange and the promotion of impactful projects shaping Europe’s green hydrogen future.
